Ark pvp stat build

By DicemanSeptember 17, in General Discussion. Hey guys just a simple question about best stat for your PVP character. I plan on using only firearms and maybe melee as a last resort. What will your endgame build be? Just want to see what everyone is thinking. You will need to be able to be faster then your opponent due to fighting someone with high melee you will just be able to out run them.

I personally would run at least 20 fortitude on all character builds as it gives you the most effectiveness to point commitment ratio in my opinion. I wouldn't bother with anything higher as the points would be more valuable else where as there is several consumables that give you infinite stamina.

This is the build I would recommend if you plan on running more of a ranged style character. I hope it helps. My favorite build involves movement speed. I used to invest in oxygen as well, but since the speed nerf on it I find it a useless stat to me now. I've seen a few different builds that are good in my opinion, but its all up to your preference and play style.

If suggest joining a few boosted play deds so you can test out a few different builds quickly and find out what fits your prefrence. The rest is up to player's preference and also depends on type of engagement: raid, skirmish, ambush, underwater. There is no "best build", but if you want to be decent - a well rounded character will do just fine.

I don't usually like to bother with fortitude or melee much, I tend to make an alt for clubbing. Weight for effective building and looting. More than weight and more than health. Fortitude is useless. How much points you would dedicate in Speed and Melee depends on your play style. I prefer close combat so I have over in melee, but if you prefer ranged combat than of melee is more than fine and rest goes into Speed. Agreed, though by higher lvls movement speed won't matter much when you spray the guy charging you with an assault rifle.

I run 52 fortitude on my char. Takes 3 hits back to back with Asc club to knock me out, gives me time if they snuck up on me to turn and make em regret it. You want a truly ranged character, I'd say Health, weight, fort if you are worried they are going for knock out before kill and stam last.

A true ranged character isn't going to matter as much how fast you are running, more so your aim. You anyway have "a window to grow". MC or Asc version and you just got one shotted and never saw the where cause you took one to the head. I've seen this fight before and how it ended.

You could almost cut your health in half and use those points elsewhere. In PVE I went with a little bit of everything. Aira View Profile View Posts. PvE you can add to whatever, The only one that I would consider wasted for an official server would be craftspeed. Other than that it's personal preference. Gulch View Profile View Posts.

Personally, for PVE that's way too much health, but it's all just player preference.

Taking some of your health points and put them into run speed. You will notice a huge difference with just 3 or 4 points added in run speed.

Some will say that your weight is too high, but if you're a crafter, builder and harvester having points into weight helps out a lot, less trips when loading and unloading your dino mules into storage crates. Quxudais View Profile View Posts. Over health seems like a waste.

Once you get decent flak or even chitin armor there won't be much that can hurt you before you can kill it if you are playing intelligently.By joeyMay 31, in General Discussion.

Im starting a new character cause the bookmarks vanished ,and i have no idea what number the server was. It depends what you want to do. It's so crucial. I go with something around health and stamina, weight, speed, oxygen and a bunch in fortitude. The oxygen and fortitude mostly being justified by my laziness when it comes to grabbing specialized gear before going places. Anything else I don't touch. It's all personal preference though.

Health - I think you want some of this regardless of playstyle, simple because you can take a beating no matter what. Dimos, thyla grabs, theri splash damage, Stamina - just enough to not run out in whatever situations you tend to end up in, but fairly cheap to boost a little.

Oxygen - this can be compensated by gear easily. If this is high enough, you can survive a DC without drowning though, depending on your load time. Cheap to get some extra of. With I can take my basilo through the Cavern of Lost Faith without scuba tank, or dive it down to kill nasties even near the ocean floor. Food and water are common to find or cary. Weight - as said before, big deal, huge convenience, worth getting up to a nice number, regardless of playstyle.

Melee - depends on playstyle, it doesn't affect ranged weapons, and your mount may be doing all your melee for you.

Movement Speed - can be nice getting around your base faster at all levels, and at being able to outrun raptors and the like can be a nice safety net. Fairly costly to level up though, so might depend on playstyle if it's worth it. Fortitude - Gear can make up for much of this, and it comes fairly costly, but it's a great convenience stat to have some of.

I couldn't find anything good with a google search, it kept coming up with house building guides instead :D What stats do you spend your points on?

Are some much better than others or are some completely useless? Deenol Afficher le profil Voir les messages. In my opinion it depends on how you want to play the game.

If you build or haul alot around then you will want more points into weight limit, maybe some in health in case of dino or player attack. Staminia is good if you PvP or fight dinos on foot often as its great for hit and run tactics or allowing you to attack more before you need to rest.

At some point they will fix the infinite air while under water on a aqua mount and then putting points into your oxygen skill will be a must have for under water building and fighting. There are so many ways to play this game there nobody can give you a set build that works best for you. Will my singleplayer build be used in multiplayer too? I put points into weight at first and after dying 10 times in a row i put some points into melee as I got sick of dying.

No everything you do in single player is on your own game. Once you go online you make a new character per server. There is an option to transfer your character but only for the official servers. Hey all, I like to be able to kite and keep my distance, prior to getting in and raiding or getting loot. My only other ideas on those stats is maybe, lowering fortitude down, for more speed, or lowering speed for 50 more hp.

Max archery, max stealth and pickpocket Even my ark characters end up skyrim stealth archers. I think have little more movement is better if you are a sniper its about getting in and out so the stats the OP has are pretty good imo. The stats you need depend on whether you will be raiding or just going pure guerrilla shooting people and disappearing.

It also depends whether you use dinos or are always on foot. If you are raiding you will want more points in weight so you can move the loot around better. I tend to use 2 characters one is pure guerrilla and the other is a more practical raider one. For my level guerrilla I have mostly movement speed. Shoot and scoot. If you keep to the jungles it is quite hard for even people on flyers to get you. The trick is not getting too greedy. If you kill a guy and his tame from a large tribe you know sooner or later the whole crowd is going to descend on you so its time to disappear.

For my raider I have more weight but I keep the movement speed which allows me better odds at getting past base defences and avoiding angry dinos.

I also have a third character for melee, it is definitely my most fun build. I use him to clean up a base ie kill all the dinos and destroy all the structures inside. He is also good for clubbing and is extremely good at close quarters especially inside bases when fighting. With this melee and the right pike he will one or two hit a lot of players even those in flak.

A lot of players don't expect a guy with extreme melee so they will generally happily charge into a room to shoot you and get quite a big surprise. I even killed a guy and his giga once with this build using a bear trap. These numbers are a good reference for me, I'm not going to be able to ascend anytime soon, so builds up to level is what I am after. I imagine myself shooting and scooting mostly, taking out key tames from a distance Mostly fliers and then attacking the base.

I would stick mostly to raiding smaller to mid sized bases, since I'm solo, and the idea of me actually raiding a fully fortified, turreted to the teeth base, is a bit far fetched. You still get diseased.

You still poop from the Rex. Movement speed is critical for PvPperiod. If you are fast, it's harder to hit you, grab you, melee you, ect. You want to be able to eat your pill and suicide out rather then risk being someone's new pet. Two types of raiding - Grab n go, in which you take their BPs, kibbles, MAYBE a few ascendent pieces and go, OR crush n burn, in which you foundation wipe them, cage em, and can take ALL the time you want carting off their loot with your carriers, leaving them with nothing.Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.

I've never really put any real thought behind a stat build when playing, usually just went with what felt right to me, but recently wanted to put more effort into a stat build for myself, that would be useful in a pvp setting.

THE BEST PVP STATS FOR PLAYERS IN ARK SURVIVAL EVOLVED

What I am wondering is, can I get away with less Melee if my goal is to club people unconcious Goal is 1 to 3 hits? Also, is movement too much, reason I put it so high is so I can manuever around people or get away if need be, quickly, but maybe movement would suffice?

I don't have a lot of pvp experience outside of a few raids and sniping, and my playstyle is pretty much play it safe and react to the situation, as opposed to just charging in, ect.
