All our pre trip enquiries were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I travel around the world and have been in every continent and used many travel agencies. Nordic visitor ranks as one of the best in organization and trip support that I have experienced and I would highly recommend them for any tour planning. On our customized map, there were a few notes such as "home made ice cream", or "cozy coffee shop". We have taken advantage of those, and were really happy that we did.

We appreciated those notes. For our trip, we had planned to arrive a few days before the beginning of the tour, and we stayed one day after. Our personalized itinerary took this into account and was customized accordingly.

Our pick up was there on time, again to go along the private portion of our trip. The taxi driver (Velur) went on to be our first Icelandic ambassador as well. FYI, we were impressed enough by your services that we have talked to someone about it already. Our questions were answered very quickly and our agent, Aevar, was extremely helpful.

Our package was put together thoughtfully. It all came together very smoothly which made our trip very pleasant and enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything we did.

We feel fortunate to have had such a nice experience. Iceland is a beautiful country and its people, very friendly.

We hope to have the opportunity to visit again. We will definitely recommend Nordic Visitor. Our guide Alfred Moller was terrific. He was knowledgeable and was willing to help us with our photography questions.

He was also a very confident and competent driver. The group size was perfect - I did not want to be with a very large group.

Overall the hotels and food were good, and the pace was good as well. I had a great time. Thank you for being so well organized with the travel documents, vouchers, suggestions etc. She answered all my questions and more up front and provided exceptional service. We spent 5 weeks in Scandinavia and this last week finished it off beautifully in a calm and relaxing pace in wonderful places.

Couldn't have been happier. This was a stress free trip because of the planning provided by Annie. This was an amazing tour for us to take as a family holiday (with teenagers) giving us a little insight into each country.They even provided a cell phone for our unrestricted use (which, because of their planning and execution, was not needed, not even once call). Every encounter with a service provider, basically the rental vehicle and hotels (plus a few optional tours we had them book), went smoothly and cleanly.

Yes, they may have cost us a bit more but it was worth it (and, I'm sure, would have been even more worth it if there had been any problems along the way). What fantastic service this company provides.

They customised a tour to meet my requirements. When we arrived they gave us a complete package of information and everything was perfectly arranged. When I first made an enquiry I told them we wanted to photograph waterfalls and they had marked the map of our route with all the waterfalls. I really recommend them very highly. Helga planned every detail, including making reservations at the most unique lodgings anywhere, arranging our rental car, providing a map with the route and handwritten notations of stops to make along the way.

Nordic Visitor also provided a spiral bound notebook with suggested sights to see each day, including optional excursions. Nordic Visitor provided us with a cell phone (which we used to call Nordic Visitor with questions during our trip), a gas discount card and an anniversary gift as well.

From our pick up at the airport to renting a car, booking hotel rooms and suggesting sites that are not in the guide books, all transitions were seamless. We had an itinerary that we could use as is or go 'off script' and still experience what Iceland had to offer.

We highly recommend them. The hotels were excellent. The meals at the hotels were also great. A nice package giving us good hotel values and locations as well as Nordic Visitor's expertise on the best things to see. This was my second tour with Nordic Visitor. In 2014 I booked a tour of Iceland through Nordic Visitor, and that was also a very positive experience.

The driver who picked us up was great, kind and helpful.One odd thing we found is the rear seat warning lights were on some days and off on others upon start up. It turns out the lights are triggered by the opening of the back doors so if the doors are opened between having been driven the warning lights come on upon start-up.
